Write Your Recruit a Letter

A pen, a little encouragement, and zero contraband. Pick a voice, personalize a sample, then copy or print it on field stationery. Nothing is submitted to us or stored online.

Set the tone

Make it personal. Avoid passwords, account information, or anything you wouldn't want accidentally seen during mail handling.

The preview updates as you type. Edit the letter itself before printing.

Important: This creates a letter draft only. It does not send mail, create shipping labels or collect recipient addresses. The recruit's exact training-unit address must come from current official instructions. Postal policies vary by installation.

A letter that actually helps

A good note tells a recruit they're remembered, not merely monitored. Mention something ordinary from home. Avoid putting pressure on someone to answer quickly—they may have limited time and delayed access to mail. If your recruit has specific preferences or unit instructions, follow them.

Do not send musical greeting cards, glitter, food or unrelated packages just because the fictional letter writer finds them funny. A letter is the feature; an unnecessary package inspection should not be the experience.
